The University of Nebraska–Lincoln College of Business Administration will offer a GMAT Strategy Workshop on Saturday, May 30, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. The workshop prepares prospective graduate students for the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), and will be led by Stephanie Espy, founder and president of Atlanta-based MathSP: Strategies and Problem-solving.
The GMAT measures verbal, mathematical and analytical writing skills for graduate admission. The workshop is designed to give those interested in learning strategies and approaches for taking the GMAT a competitive edge.
“This workshop will allow those interested in pursuing a graduate degree to learn key strategies needed for the GMAT,” said Nichole MacDonald, associate director of MBA programs. “Once they complete the workshop, they have a plan for success.”

An official score on the GMAT is one of the admissions requirements for the UNL College of Business Administration master’s and doctoral programs including the Master of Business Administration. The UNL MBA is designed for students with a bachelor’s degree in any field and offers ultimate flexibility with on-campus and distance options. The GMAT is also required for CBA’s two new master’s programs including the master of arts in business administration (MABA) and master of arts in business with a specialization in Intercollegiate athletics administration (MAIAA).
