NEBRASKA BUSINESS IS A BEST BUY

With a combination of strong academics and affordability, Nebraska is one of just 20 public universities to receive a “Best Buy” designation by the Fiske Guide to Colleges. And with among the lowest tuition in the Big Ten, 65 percent of first-year students receive institutional grants or scholarships*.

College Pays Off

College graduates make an average of 50 percent more money and have half the unemployment rate of those who don’t have degrees, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor and Statistics.

You’re Not Buying a Piece of Paper

College isn’t about dumping facts into your head — you use Google for that. College offers access to world-leading experts, state-of-the-art equipment, and a network of like-minded people. The challenges you’ll overcome and experiences you’ll have will set you up for a better career.

Nebraska Takes Cost Seriously

Nebraska strives to make college affordable for all families. We offer among the lowest tuition in the Big Ten, and our students who take out loans typically borrow $6,000 less than the national average.

At Nebraska, Opportunity + Access = Jobs

Nebraska is large enough to offer all the opportunities you would expect from a Big Ten university, but small enough you’ll actually have access to them. To see how students turn their experiences at Nebraska into careers, visit the Business Career Center website.

Calculating Cost

Tuition is based upon whether or not you are a resident of Nebraska. Take 30 seconds and use the Admissions calculator to estimate your tuition and fees.

First-Year Scholarships in the College of Business

We all need help becoming our best, and sometimes that means financial help. Thanks to alumni and friends who have provided scholarships, the college awards more than $1 Million in scholarships annually. Additionally as an incoming student you are automatically reviewed on a holistic level for first-year scholarships when you apply to Nebraska by the February 1 university scholarship deadline, declare a business major and are accepted to the University. To be provided with the highest chance of receiving scholarships, we encourage students to apply by the priority deadline of November 1.

You are guaranteed continued scholarship funding as long as you reapply each year and meet the application and qualification requirements.
