If you are applying for any study abroad program, we encourage you to apply for scholarships to assist with going abroad. Many students combine several small awards that add up to make a big difference.

To apply for College of Business specific scholarships, complete the MAPS Scholarship Application available on MyWorld. Scholarship deadlines include: October 1 for spring programs, February 1 for summer programs and March 1 for fall programs.

Spring Pre-Session Program

NEBRASKA BUSINESS FACULTY-LED PROGRAM
Costa Rica: Coffee and EcoTourism
January 2023

Offered in the 2023 January Spring Pre-Session, students will spend one week together on campus, then a week traveling Costa Rica's beautiful landscape. Visit captivating parks, learn from professionals on multiple coffee farms, and engage in cultural activities. Upon return, students will present their final projects. This program will provide students with a hands-on opportunity to learn about small business global marketing.

France: IAU College Semester in Aix-en-Provence
FALL/SPRING SEMESTER

Situated in the quaint south of France, Aix-en-Provence is a magical French village rich with culture and a long heritage of fantastic cuisine. Join students at IAU College in learning the culture, language, and business practices of France in this semester-long program. Part-time internship placement is available (prior language knowledge is required).

Japan: Senshu University – BCL Fall Semester Program
FALL SEMESTER 2022 (Late September-Mid-December)

Students will learn about Japanese business, culture and language in this Fall Semester program located close to the heart of Tokyo. Live on campus with a Japanese student and participate in a weekend homestay! No prior Japanese language is necessary.

Rwanda: Global Startup Communities
MAY 2023

This 3-week faculty-led education abroad program offers a unique look into entrepreneurship in Rwanda. Recently, the annual growth in GDP on the continent of Africa has steadily outpaced those from other continents. Such economic growth has highlighted the need for entrepreneurial expansion throughout the continent, and in few environments is this emerging entrepreneurial passion more alive and well than in the country of Rwanda.

Have a standout international experience on this 4-week program at Oxford University this summer! Students enroll in courses in Economics and/or Shakespeare Theater taught by Oxford professors while residing in Jesus College, established in 1571 by Queen Elizabeth I. As the longest-running study abroad program at UNL, join the network of Nebraska at Oxford students in 2022.
