Husker Venture Fund invites students of all majors to apply for its Venture Bootcamp to learn more about venture capital, entrepreneurship and Nebraska's startup ecosystem.

The Husker Venture Fund is accepting applications through Sept. 13 for its eight-week Venture Bootcamp, a student-led program focused on venture capital, entrepreneurship and Nebraska’s startup ecosystem.

The program features guest speakers who are founders, investors and ecosystem leaders, along with a hands-on due diligence project focused on developing investment skills. Participants also will explore Nebraska’s startup ecosystem and connect with key stakeholders.

Following Venture Bootcamp, a select group of participants will be chosen as associates in the fund, which invests more than $100,000 annually in Nebraska-based startups.

The program is open to students from any major and any year. The Husker Venture Fund provides investment experience at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln while supporting student- and faculty-led startups.

Established by alumni and university supporters, the fund is managed by students under the supervision of the Center for Entrepreneurship, the University of Nebraska Foundation and Invest Nebraska.
