The National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) North Central Region recognized Jennifer Mostek, director of Business Advising and Student Engagement (BASE), with the Excellence in Advising Administration Award. The first University of Nebraska–Lincoln employee to ever earn the honor, Mostek received the award on May 2 at the regional conference held in Lincoln, Nebraska. » Full Article

Ten faculty, staff and Ph.D. students at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln College of Business received recognition for their efforts driving discovery, creating opportunity and empowering students to lead the future of business during the 2022-23 academic year. When it comes to advising and engaging with students, Jaylen Peters, ’16, is the welcoming force for the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s College of Business. An administrative support associate with the college’s Business Advising and Student Engagement Office since October 2018, Peters is responsible for distributing scholarships to Nebraska Business students, assisting academic advisors, managing student assistants, maintaining the office’s needs and helping communicate opportunities to students. » Full Article
