ABOUT
SCHOLARSHIP
Dr. Mary McGarvey is an associate professor of economics at the University of Nebraska. Previously, she taught economics at Georgia State University and Loyola College in Maryland. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Virginia.
Dr. McGarvey’s research and teaching focus is in applied econometrics, and her current research interests are school and maternal employment effects on children’s health, gender occupational segregation in STEM fields, and survey research on differences in policy views of male and female economists in the US and Europe.
