Biography

Dr. Donna Dudney earned her Ph.D. in finance from the University of Nebraska in interdepartmental area of business and her MBA from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. Her teaching interests include financial institutions and markets, project analysis and investments. Her research interests include market efficiency/market anomalies, fixed income, corporate governance and valuation. Her areas of expertise are municipal bonds, financial institutions and markets and banking.

Dudney’s publications include “Does the Quality of Financial Advice Affect Prices?” Financial Review; "The Impact of Rating Agency Reputation on Local Government Bond Yields" Journal of Financial Services Research; and “Return Attribution:  A Modified Bootstrapping Approach” Journal of Accounting and Finance.
