Nebraska has been my home all my life so it was natural that I would find my place here at UNL. My journey here started with my bachelor’s where I studied Psychology with a minor in Child Youth and Family studies. From there I later began my master’s program studying education administration. All this experience would of course lead me back to where I started and help students to be successful both in their time here at UNL as well as moving forward after.
During both my bachelor’s and master’s studies I was fortunate enough to work on campus in TRIO programs helping low-income and first-generation students to find themselves in their academic and career path. My experiences in TRIO served to strengthen my understanding of students of many backgrounds and opened my eyes to several new ideas.
Please chat with me about cooking, movies, anime, video games, fantasy games, etc. I always love to nerd out about some of my interests and hear about new interests from my students.
