Dr. Yingchao Lan is an associate professor of the Department of Supply Chain Management and Analytics. She joined UNL after receiving her PhD from the Fisher College of Business School at The Ohio State University. Prior to pursuing her PhD, she worked for several years in Global Supply Chain at Lenovo and Risk Management at KPMG. She holds a master degree and a undergraduate degree from Beihang University.

Dr. Lan’s research has been published in top operations and supply chain journals, including the Manufacturing&Service Operations Management, Journal of Operations Management, and Production and Operations Management. Her research has received several awards. In 2021, one of her papers was awarded the OSCM Division's Chan Hahn best paper award at the Academy of Management conference.
