Biography
Susan grew up on a farm in southwest Nebraska. She attended UNL, earning a degree in Family Science, then earned graduate hours to become certified as a teacher in Elementary Education. She spent almost four years teaching in Cambodia, first teaching English at the University of Phnom Penh, then Grade 5 at the International School of Phnom Penh. She returned to the States and worked in non-profit development and outreach and joined UNL in 2017 as the Executive Assistant to the Dean for the College of Business. She coordinates the Dean's calendar, communications, and travel, acting as a point of contact with students, staff, faculty, business partners, alumni and donors. She also coordinates and coaches Student Assistants in the Office of the Dean.
