Megan Rainville joined the Finance Ph.D. program at UNL in 2015. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Clarkson University, as well as Master's degrees in Investment Management and Financial Analysis (MIMFA) and Business Administration (MBA) from Creighton University. Megan's research interests are in empirical corporate finance, with projects focused on corporate governance, financial distress, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate liquidity. She has experience teaching courses in financial management (FINA 361) and commercial bank management (FINA 465/865). Prior to her doctoral studies, Megan worked as a Financial Analyst at General Dynamics.
