I received my BFA in Musical Theatre from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2008. During college I held several positions both within the University system as a Recruiter for the Theatre Department as well as in the retail field and food services. After college I traveled with the global education program Up with People. During my 6 months with Up with People I participated in the Marketing and Operations internship. I was then hired as a Field Marketing and Operations Manager and have worked in Florida, Texas, Colorado and Bermuda. Duties include event planning for a large group, negotiations, public relations, organizing community service and performance events, and dealing directly with all forms of media. I then worked as the Vocal Instructor for 3 tours teaching and maintaining the musical aspect of the production.
I finished my Master's Degree in Student Development Administration from Seattle University. During graduate school, I worked as a Residence Hall Director at Cornish College of the Arts. I've worked in housing, recruitment, academic advising and career coaching during my professional life in Higher Education.
I love board & video games, Dungeons & Dragons, theatre, reading, baking, knitting and spending time with my cockapoo Hugo.
