Jennifer Mostek is the Director of Business Advising and Student Engagement (BASE) in the College of Business. In this role, Jen works to ensure high-quality student services, programs, and communication for undergraduate academic advising. She enjoys supporting students they explore interests, choose majors and minors, and develop their plan to graduation.
Prior to joining the College of Business in 2015, Jen advised students on abroad opportunities including study, internships, research, and service learning with the Education Abroad Office as the Senior Education Abroad and Student Exchange Coordinator. In a past life, she was also an Amigos restaurant manager, having opened and managed the location at 14th and Pine Lake until it was time to move onto law school and then graduate school.
Outside of work, you can find Jen spending time with her three children (Kyler, Corbin, and Makenna) and husband (Brad). Favorite family pastimes include family game night, attending children’s sporting events, and playing the game of the moment, typically something like horsey, Beyblade, or Monopoly Deal. You will also find Jen hard at work learning the ropes as president-elect of the Adams Elementary PTO.
