Biography

Chris Timm is the Director of the Business Career Center. In this role, Chris consults with employers to help them effectively recruit Nebraska Business students. Chris regularly meets with students to brainstorm their career strategy. As a lifelong Nebraskan, she especially enjoys the opportunity to learn what makes each community unique.

Before joining the College of Business in 2017, Chris's served the University in several roles including experience with a career guidance software and a variety of positions within the career services field. Her skill areas include employer outreach, staff/student development, career coaching, internship advising, assessment, and technology. In addition, she has served on national committees related to mentorship, technology, and ethical principles. 

Chris earned her Ph.D. and Master’s degree in Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) and her Bachelor’s in speech communications from Chadron State College.
