The goal of IT Services at the College of Business is to put the technology that you need into your hands. Our intent is to support students, faculty, and staff so that technology tools are always available to help you succeed. We are a technology team, each with different strengths and responsibilities, from our full-time folks to our part-time student technicians. We ALL contribute to the IT Services mission.

Staffed with engaged student employees and full time personnel, the Help Center is here to provide help for your technology needs. New Media

The IT Services New Media team provides video production services and new media consulting for faculty and staff. The team also maintains and supports the Center for Sales Excellence recording studio; offering students the ability to have special presentations recorded for review by instructors.

Projects and Infrastructure

The ITS Projects and Infrastructure team provides consultation and leads new technology initiatives and projects for the College of Business. They maintain and administrate the current technology infrastructure by conducting preventative maintenance on college technology and partnering with university ITS on shared resources such as networking equipment and file storage. Additionally, the Projects and Infrastructure team is responsible for preparing and testing new equipment and computers before being deployed to the college.

Web Design and Development

ITS Web Design and Development designs and maintains the college website and applications, and generates special reports for college staff. We work closely with you to understand your needs and goals to help design the best website or application possible. Web Design and Development works closely with the Communications, Marketing and External Relations department to provide students, staff, faculty, alumni and others a visible and professional web presence.

Classrooms and Learning Spaces

Hawks Hall classrooms and learning spaces are among the most high-tech in the Big Ten. All 26 classrooms, a 60 seat computer lab, a 60 seat stock trading room, 19 breakout rooms, 18 conference rooms, and seven recording rooms, CoB learning spaces are supported by Nebraska Business ITS and Facilities Operations.
