Operated by the Alpha Delta Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi, the Career Closet provides clean, gently used professional dress items for ALL University of Nebraska–Lincoln students for FREE to allow them to put their best foot forward at career fairs and job interviews.

The Career Closet is closed during Summer 2026 and will reopen in Fall 2026. If you have any questions or are in need of utilizing the Career Closet during the summer, please contact us by emailing businesscareers@unl.edu.
Student Requirements to Shop at Career Closet
Bring your student ID to the Career Closet at any of the dates and times listed above. It really is that easy!
Supporting the Career Closet
The Career Closet is accepting limited clothing donations during the summer due to reduced student traffic and storage capacity. Priority needs include smaller professional sizes:
- Women’s: 00–8, XS- Medium
- Men’s dress shirts: neck sizes 14–15.5
- Men’s jackets/blazers: 34–38
- Men’s dress pants: waist 28–32
Drop off your donations at the Career Closet bin in front of the Business Career Center in Howard L. Hawks Hall. Donations can be dropped off during business hours which is generally Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

We accept monetary donations. We use these funds to purchase clothing that are in need (for example, high demand sizes and classic pieces).
