Lifetime Achievement

Marc LeBaron, '76 | Chairman & CEO, Lincoln Industries

For more than 50 years, Marc LeBaron has invested in people to help position them for success, both in work and in life, making a lasting impact on the greater Lincoln community and beyond. Marc serves as Chairman and CEO of Lincoln Industries, a leading integrated manufacturing and coating business with multiple locations in Nebraska, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. Through his leadership, the company established itself as the largest metal finisher in North America and has become renowned for producing large volume complex manufactured products, enabling clients across the truck, motorsports, and digital signage industries to focus on delivering quality to their customers.

Marc has long championed corporate culture as a strategic differentiator and central driver of organizational success. Under his leadership, Lincoln Industries has earned consistent recognition from the Great Place To Work Institute as one of the top 25 Best Medium-Sized Companies to Work For in America and has emerged as a national leader in wellness and wellbeing initiatives, exemplified by its annual tradition of hosting more than 100 team members for a 14,000-foot mountain climb in celebration of healthy living and team commitment. His daughters, Katie and Kassy, are actively involved in contributing to the company’s continued growth as a thriving multi-generational enterprise.

Marc is equally passionate about the role of privately held businesses in strengthening local communities and advancing economic development. His civic leadership includes active engagement with youth development organizations to help prepare young people for their lives and careers, strong support for the arts and cultural initiatives that bring the experiences of the world to the local community, sharing decades of expertise through service alongside local and statewide business leaders; and shaping transformative developments to revitalize downtown Lincoln as part of Vision 2015 Group. Marc is a lifelong Nebraskan who calls Lincoln home alongside his wife, Kathryn. He is an avid pilot, a graduate of Lincoln High School, and an alumnus of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Corporate Leadership

Deloitte & Touche LLP

Deloitte’s Omaha office is honored and proud to receive the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s 2026 Corporate Leadership Award. As a professional services organization providing audit and assurance, tax, consulting, and advisory services, Deloitte brings together talent, technology, and an ecosystem of alliances to advise clients as they tackle complex challenges. Locally, Deloitte professionals in Nebraska bring these capabilities to life everyday – serving clients while remaining deeply invested in the communities where we work and live.

A cornerstone of Deloitte’s Omaha office community commitment is its long-standing connection with the University of Nebraska–Lincoln School of Accounting and Actuarial Science. Deloitte supports students through scholarships, classroom engagement, mentorship, and post-graduate opportunities, with a focus on helping Nebraska talent thrive.

Deloitte is proud that many University of Nebraska–Lincoln (UNL) alumni began their careers here. Today, more than 160 University of Nebraska–Lincoln alumni serve across the organization. Our strong representation of alumni is no surprise as UNL students continue to stand out through Deloitte-sponsored competitions. In 2023, UNL teams earned championship wins in both the Tax FanTaxTic Challenge and the Deloitte Audit Challenge. In 2026, that momentum continues as UNL teams advanced as Tax FanTaxTic National finalists. Deloitte’s connection to UNL is further reflected as many Deloitte professionals are recognized in Halls of Fame across accounting and the College as a whole.

Together, these efforts represent more than a relationship; they reflect a shared commitment to developing strong talent pipelines, expanding opportunity, and investing in Nebraska’s future. Deloitte is proud to support UNL students, staff, and alumni as they grow into the next generation of leaders, and to work with the university and community to create an impact that matters.
