Competitions and Events That Propel you Forward
The center hosts a number of competitions and events that meet you where you are in your entrepreneurial journey. From sharpening innovation skills in a collaborative environment to competing for prize money to start your business, you’ll further develop your entrepreneurial toolkit and turn your ideas into viable business ventures.
New Venture Competition
Undergraduate and graduate students from any major across campus pitch their business plans to a panel of judges and field questions based on feasibility, market potential, financial projections and more. Teams who advance to the final round will compete for one of four cash prizes ranging from $7,500 to $15,000. Judge panels are comprised of founders and professionals in the entrepreneurship space who are dedicated to advancing entrepreneurship in Nebraska and beyond. Each cash prize winning team has opportunity for further investment up to $25,000 from the Husker Venture Fund.

3-2-1 Quick Pitch
3 minutes 2 pitch 1 idea. The annual event gives students a platform to present their business ideas in a three-minute pitch before a panel of entrepreneurial-minded experts from across Nebraska. The top two pitches from each room receive cash prizes.
