The Nebraska Entrepreneurship Accelerator is a cohort-based program designed for students who are actively building or growing a business. Open to students from any major, the program provides individualized support, curated resources and a strong community to help founders make meaningful progress.
Students in the Accelerator don’t just learn about entrepreneurship, they actively practice it. Through mentorship, hands-on experiences and structured accountability, participants develop both their ventures and their leadership capacity.

Program Benefits
$1,000 Scholarship
Students receive a $1,000 scholarship in recognition of their commitment to the program and their entrepreneurial growth.
Funds are dispersed in $500 increments after each semester of satisfactory program completion.
Exclusive Access to Resources
Members gain access to curated tools, funding opportunities and campus resources designed to support business development and growth.
Tailored Mentorship and Coaching
Each student receives individualized guidance aligned with their business stage, goals and challenges, providing consistent support as they grow their venture.
A Community of Student Founders
Students join a cohort of driven entrepreneurs who provide accountability, collaboration and support throughout the program.
Earn Academic Credit for Participating
Students enroll in ENTR 451, and have the option to earn 3 credits while actively working on and advancing their business.
Workshops and Venture Development Support
Participants engage in workshops and receive expert guidance in key areas such as marketing, finance, legal and growth strategy.
The Accelerator Program is built for the students who:
- Are actively building or growing a business
- Want consistent mentorship and accountability
- Are ready to take action and make measurable progress
- Want to develop as both founders and leaders
- Value being part of a driven, supportive community
To apply, students must:
- Be a University of Nebraska–Lincoln student, sophomore standing or
above - Actively working on a business or venture
Acceptance is limited to ensure a high-quality, individualized experience.
