In the International Business (IB) Select Program, you’ll find unique study abroad opportunities, professional mentorships and business development projects with a cohort of students.
Gain a deeper knowledge of a region or culture through a Nebraska Business Abroad experience.
Practice for Language Proficiency
Attend events with language clubs and conversation tables. As an international business major, you’ll complete at least eight credit hours of language coursework, which can also apply toward an optional minor.
Complete an International Internship
Gain real-world experience through an internationally focused internship or practicum in the U.S. or abroad.

Elina Ibrayeva, Associate Professor of Practice in Management
Elina Ibrayeva helps students explore how business connects people, cultures and ideas around the world. She teaches courses in international management and global issues, where students learn how companies navigate cultural, economic and technological differences across countries.
Ibrayeva also advises the International Business Club and the Nebraska University Malaysian Student Association, helping students build global connections and leadership skills beyond the classroom.
