Business Administration Career Resources

The business administration major is designed to give students a broad background in business administration. You may choose to specialize in several areas by majoring in business administration or specialize by selecting one major. When specializing in several areas, you may choose courses from any of the departments within the college in any combination. If your educational goal includes two or more areas of business, the general business administration major allows you to design a tailor-made program to fit your goals. 

Set Yourself Up To Succeed

  • Choose your electives strategically based on your interests. 
  • Be prepared to start in an entry-level management trainee program. 
  • Gain related experience through an internship. 
  • Get involved in student organizations and take on a leadership role (executive board or committee). 
  • Develop your network of personal/professional contacts. 
  • Complete multiple informational interviews.
