The Department of Insurance team, including the Chief Actuary and Deputy Chief Examiner, will provide an overview of the Department of Insurance, including who we are, what we do and why. The presentation will include a demonstration of how financial analysts and actuaries on our team might interact while monitoring the financial solvency of an insurance company navigating a financial transaction related to a long term care insurance block of business.

Imagine ending your day knowing that you helped put a stop to an economic espionage plot that could have crippled the nation's economy. How many accountants do you know who are FBI Special Agents? Do you want your family to know that the work you're doing is protecting the community? Or even more importantly, the work you're doing is protecting children.

Forensic Accountants use their skills to investigate and analyze financial information and mission-critical assets. A fundamental part of building a case against criminal elements is to "follow the money." Positions in Business Analysis and Administration provide support to the highest levels of the FBI. These individuals boost efficiency and are the backbone of our organization. Opportunities are available in a wide range of professional functions, ranging from executive assistants to management consultants. Special Agents use a variety of skills to investigate over 300 federal criminal violations to bring perpetrators to justice. They come from a variety of backgrounds and educational disciplines to help protect the American people and uphold the Constitution.
