Employer Partners Guide Employer in Residence Schedule
Employer in Residence showcases employers who recruit Nebraska Business students and provides engagement opportunities for students, faculty and staff such as information booths, presentations, resume reviews and more.
Employers participate in this program so they can share information about their organization with you, learn more about you, and build a relationship with you!
Stop and chat with the Employer in Residence at their information booth to learn more about what they do and what positions they have available.
Virtual Information Booth
Chat with the Employer in Residence in their virtual information booth via Zoom to learn more about what they do and what positions they have available. You will be in a Zoom waiting room until it is your turn to speak with the recruiter.
Know who is coming, check digital signs, weekly Business Career Center newsletter, or pick up a paper calendar outside of the Business Career Center.
Ask good questions.
What does your organization do?
What skills do you look for in recruits?
Do you have job shadow opportunities?
Would you participate in an informational interview?
What internships/full-time opportunities do you have available?
Follow-up after your conversation
Send a LinkedIn connection
Send a thank you email
Ask to meet up for coffee to continue the conversation.

There is one (only one) parking spot designated for the Employer in Residence. This spot is located behind the Northeast
corner of the College of Business in the University Health Center lot. You can park at any sign that reads, "College of Business
Guest Only" and has a yellow pole. Again, only one spot is available for Employer in Residence.
After you park, enter the building through the Northeast doors. You will need to check in at the Business Career Center (HLH 141) in
the Northwest corner of the building so we know that you have arrived, and we can get you a parking permit. This permit needs to be
displayed in your vehicle. If you do not display the permit, we are not responsible if you are towed. Business Career Center staff
will assist you with anything else you might need.
Additional parking—The closest garages to the College of Business are:
- 14th and Avery Garage located at 1111 N. 14th Street
- Stadium Garage located at 625 Stadium Drive
The College of Business Career Center does not validate parking.
