Degrees With Distinction

The College of Business Undergraduate Curriculum Committee has approved the following Degrees with Distinction policies.

In recognition of outstanding academic excellence, the College of Business recommends the bachelor's degree With Distinction, With High Distinction, and With Highest Distinction. All students graduating with distinction must meet the following criteria:

Candidates must have completed 45 graded credit hours (excluding P/N) at UNL prior to the semester they graduate.

Candidates must have completed at least 60 graded hours (excluding P/N) at UNL by the time of graduation.

Eligibility is based on the cumulative GPA of all credit hours taken at UNL prior to the semester of graduation.

Highest Distinction

Candidates for the bachelor's degree who have successfully completed the program to which they were admitted and achieved a 3.90 through 4.0 cumulative grade point average.

High Distinction

Candidates for the bachelor's degree who have successfully completed the program to which they were admitted and achieved a 3.80 through 3.899 cumulative grade point average.

Distinction

Candidates for the bachelor's degree who have successfully completed the program to which they were admitted and achieved a 3.70 through 3.799 cumulative grade point average.
