How do I stay on track to graduate in the timeline I plan?

1. Work with your academic advisor each semester to develop your degree plan and make adjustments as you decide on majors or minors, study abroad, internships and other experiences.

2. Review your degree audit in MyRED (select Stellic Degree Audit Management in Important Links) and “See Progress” to become familiar with your degree requirements.

3. Use the degree audit planner in MyRED to schedule your courses by semester. Check the Semester Guide to verify the planned courses are tentatively offered in that semester.

4. Utilize the Undergraduate Catalog to verify you meet course prerequisites and to learn more about majors and minors.

What is a Degree Audit?

  • Stellic Degree Audit Management system is a computer-generated document outlining your undergraduate academic progress. This record uses your UNL coursework, transfer coursework, and courses in progress in order to determine your progress toward degree completion.
  • Stellic degree audit is able to measure your progress in meeting these requirements by itemizing the individual components and breaking down each area into sub-groups or subrequirements. Each sub-group is independent and must be satisfactorily completed.

How do I get to my Stellic degree audit and planner?

To view your degree audit, sign in to MyRED and click on the Stellic Degree Audit button in Important Links.

Advisors also have access to Stellic degree audit and are available to discuss your academic progress.

Will My Degree Audit Replace Advising?

Stellic is a tool that enables students to measure their academic progress. Students are encouraged to continue to meet with an academic advisor if questions arise regarding classes, scheduling, prerequisites, etc.
