SCHOLARSHIPS FOR HUSKERS WHO HUSTLE

Apply for the Husker Hustle Scholarship for your opportunity to earn one of two $2,500 scholarships for aspiring or established student entrepreneurs. The scholarships were established by Janna Ronert, ‘87, a successful entrepreneur who wants to help students who are passionate about their ideas and hungry for success. Open to sophomores and juniors at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Scholarships will support academic costs in the semester following the competition and selection.

Application

A completed application includes:

  1. 5-7 minute video that answers the following. (1) Describe your entrepreneurial journey (2) How will the Husker Hustle Scholarship advance your entrepreneurial journey while supporting your educational career at Nebraska? You may, but are not required to share a bit more about an entrepreneurial dream, a current business, business idea or other topic related to your entrepreneurial journey. Who is eligible to compete for the scholarships?

Current full-time University of Nebraska-Lincoln sophomores and juniors from any undergraduate college.

What is the timeline for the Husker Hustle Scholarship?

The deadline to apply is noon on April 1, 2025. Scholarship decisions will be communicated on or before April 25, 2025.
