The objective of the Nebraska Governor’s New Venture Competition is to celebrate and encourage student-led entrepreneurship and innovation in Nebraska. The competition will provide a meaningful learning experience for undergraduate and graduate students attending a Nebraska post-secondary educational institution who are interested in pursuing an entrepreneurial opportunity now or at some point in their careers. The Nebraska Center for Entrepreneurship is offering two sessions to help students prepare their submission, which is due December 15, 2024. Students are welcome to attend both sessions, or whichever session works best for them.

For those who are selected as a semi-finalist, the Center for Entrepreneurship will offer practice pitch sessions via Zoom prior to January 6. For those who are selected as a finalist, the Center for Entrepreneurship will offer practice pitch sessions on prior to January 30.
