As the world grapples with shortages and delays, Chancellor Ronnie Green talked one-on-one with Jennifer Ryan, department chair and professor of supply chain management and analytics and Van Horne Family Endowed Chair, in a new video part of his “3 Questions with Ronnie” video series. In their discussion, Green and Ryan examine global disruptions in goods being delivered and how those issues are reshaping instruction.

"When supply chains work well, they're invisible to the average person, and we had well-designed, well-managed supply chains capable of efficiently producing and delivering a huge variety of products. This really is an opportunity for us to highlight the importance of what we do," Ryan said.

As an expert who studies supply chains and understands the complexities of trying to make supply meet demand, Ryan helps explain what’s happening, what consumers can expect, and how these current issues may give way to better, more flexible chains in the future. Most recently, she's been featured by Omaha World Herald, Lincoln Journal Star, KETV and Nebraska Today.
