What happens if I am deployed during the semester? The professors will work with you to determine the best option for your circumstances. Most likely, you would take an incomplete in the course and work out a plan to finish the coursework in the near future or complete the course the next time it is offered at no additional tuition charge.
How does my funding work?
  • If you are using the G.I. bill you will need to visit the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs website to determine the benefits you are eligible for or call the Department of Veterans Affairs office at 1-888-442-4551.
  • You can find a summary of the educational benefits here. Once you know what benefits you will receive, Deb Quinn (dquinn2@unl.edu), the Nebraska VA clerk on-campus, will assist you in completing the paperwork necessary to receive your funding.
  • If you are using Tuition Assistance (TA) you will need to submit a program of study to your education center.
Can I start the program without meeting the prerequisite requirements? What are the prerequisites for your program and can I start the program without meeting the prerequisite requirements? You must complete a college-level statistics course before you take the required economics or finance courses. If you have not taken statistics, you can fulfill this prerequisite at any accredited undergraduate school. However, you can start with other core required courses before completing your statistics course.
What technical capabilities do I need? Review technology requirements on the Curriculum and Class Format webpage.
Can I complete my degree from anywhere? Our online program allows students to complete their MBA degree from anywhere in the world as long as the student has reliable internet connection available several times per week.
Can I get credit for officer training? If the educational program you completed is offered by an institution accredited to award graduate credit, you can receive credit for up to nine hours. Some examples of accredited schools are: National Defense University, Joint Forces Staff College, Air Force Institute of Technology and Air University.
