My background in career services started during my time in graduate school. From a young age, I have always loved helping people. Motivated by this interest, I decided to study Psychology during my undergraduate education. At the time my career goal to become a clinical psychologist quickly changed when I realized that this path would not allow me to utilize my strengths. Still motivated by my desire to help people, I decided to pursue a masters degree in Counselor Education, at The Pennsylvania State University. I went into counseling with the idea of working as a school counselor, but that quickly changed after taking my first career counseling class! Shortly after I started working as a Career Counselor, for Penn State's Central Career Services Center and Penn State's Mechanical Engineering Department. Currently, I serve as a Career Coach with the Business Career Center helping people grow and attain their career goals while loving what I do!
Outside of work, I keep busy by riding my bike, swimming, and shooting professional fireworks displays around Lincoln/Omaha.
