The MBA@Nebraska online program moved up three spots to #14 in The Princeton Review® most recent rankings.
The MBA@Nebraska program at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln offers one of the nation's most outstanding online MBA programs, according to The Princeton Review®. Ranked No. 14 in the Top 25 Online MBA Programs list, the MBA@Nebraska program moved up three spots from last year. The ranking also places the program No. 9 among public institutions.

The Princeton Review is a leading tutoring, test prep and college admission services company and not affiliated with Princeton University. This year marks the fifth annual ranking for the Top 25 Online MBA Programs, which is part of the company's Best Business Schools for 2020 project at https://www.princetonreview.com/best-business-schools.

"We strongly recommend the University of Nebraska–Lincoln MBA@Nebraska program as an outstanding choice for anyone aspiring to earn an MBA via an online program," said Rob Franek, editor-in-chief of The Princeton Review. Franek added, "The Nebraska program is exceptionally strong academically, and it maximizes technology that enables students to interact with and learn from faculty and students all over the world."

The Princeton Review chose the 25 online MBA programs and tallied its ranking list based on data from the company's 2018-19 surveys of administrators at more than 110 business schools offering online MBAs.

The company also factored in data from its 2018-19 surveys of more than 6,000 students enrolled in online MBA programs. More than 60 data points were weighted to determine the list and rankings. The criteria focused on five core areas: academics, selectivity, faculty, technical platforms and career outcomes.

Dr. Jake Messersmith, executive director of Business Graduate Programs, said this ranking places the MBA@Nebraska program among the elite online MBA educators. He takes pride in seeing the rankings coincide with MBA@Nebraska graduates’ success in their careers.

“We are honored to be recognized as a top-ranked online MBA program by The Princeton Review and appreciate Rob’s recommendation of our MBA@Nebraska program. We are committed to providing our students with an outstanding online education experience and an excellent return on investment,” said Messersmith

The Princeton Review's website also features the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and states, “Students who make the cut (for the MBA@Nebraska program) are rewarded with an ‘internationally recognized’ program that strikes ‘the perfect balance of reputation, curriculum quality, flexibility and price.’ The ‘flexibility’ and ‘convenient course format’ of the MBA@Nebraska program allows students to advance their career momentum even as they work towards a degree. In fact, eight percent of graduates received a promotion while enrolled in the program.”

Earlier this year, the MBA@Nebraska ranked ninth in the nation and second in the Big Ten in an online MBA ranking by Poets&Quants and third in the Big Ten for veterans by U.S. News & World Report.
