Jeff Johnson Selected Winner Dissertation Competition

Jeff Johnson, a doctoral marketing student at the UNL College of Business Administration, was selected as a winner of the 2013 American Marketing Association Sales SIG Dissertation Proposal Competition. He will receive a cash award of $1,000 and will have his conference fees paid to attend the AMA New Horizons Sales Consortium in June.

Johnson will be presented his award at the AMA Sales SIG reception on February 16 as part of the 2013 Winter AMA Marketing Educators Conference in Las Vegas, Nev.

Dr. Ravi Sohi, Steinhart Foundation Distinguished Professor of Business, is Johnson's faculty advisor.

"This is a well-deserved honor for Jeff that enhances the visibility of our doctoral program," Sohi said. "It continues the great tradition of distinguished representation by our Ph.D. students at significant conferences."
