Hosted by the College of Business, the event takes place Thursday, October 18 from 4 to 5 p.m. in Howard L. Hawks Hall. The free event is open to all university students and the public. Executive Insights presents students and professionals alike the opportunity to have valuable discussions with top business leaders from various industries. Past panels discussed leadership, career paths, business challenges and the future of business.

Matt Epp, ’93, serves as an audit partner in Ernst & Young’s (EY) financial services practice in Minneapolis. Since joining the firm in 1994, he acquired considerable experience in providing assurance services to private and public asset management advisers, SEC registered investment companies, broker-dealers, real estate investment trusts and alternative investment funds. Epp previously worked in EY’s Kansas City, Missouri, New York and Atlanta offices, and worked in their national accounting office from 2004 to 2007. He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Nebraska.
Teresa Poggenpohl, ’83, serves as the senior managing director of marketing and communications for North America at Accenture, a leading global professional services company. She focuses on differentiating Accenture as an innovation leader in local markets, building relevance with clients and positioning Accenture as an employer of choice. Poggenpohl serves on the company’s Global Leadership Council, North America Leadership Team and the Marketing and Communications Executive Committee. She received wide recognition for her achievements, including

The Internationalist magazine’s 100 Influential Marketers and University of Illinois College of Business 2012 Distinguished Alumnus Award. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Nebraska and MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Laura Schulte, ’81, served as an executive with Wells Fargo & Company where she led the enterprises largest banking divisions as a member of the CEO's management committee. She was also responsible for the company-wide customer experience and affluent strategies. She holds extensive experience in profit and loss management, risk management, compliance, credit, finance, distribution and cross-sell. Schulte serves on the boards of State Farm Bank, Novant Health, Grubb Properties, University of North Carolina at Charlotte and the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art. She is a member of the Young Presidents Organization, the National Association of Corporate Directors, Women's Corporate Directors and the International Women's Forum.
American Banker named her one of the top 25 most powerful women in banking. Schulte earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Nebraska. She is also a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania.
Sue Wilkinson, ’90, serves as the senior vice president and chief financial officer for Ameritas and its affiliate companies. During her more than 20-year career at Ameritas, she has held a variety of roles related to cost accounting, budgeting, annual planning, project management, communications, community relations and risk management. She was an auditor with Deloitte & Touche for five years specializing in insurance before joining Ameritas as a corporate accountant in 1995. Active in the Lincoln, Nebraska, community, she serves on the Bryan College of Health Sciences Board, the Pius X Board of Advisors and the University of Nebraska Foundation Audit Committee. She previously served on the United Way of Lincoln and Lancaster County Board, the Lincoln Community Foundation Board, the Lincoln Young Professional's Leadership Council, the Pius X High School Parent Association Board and the University of Nebraska–Lincoln School of Accountancy Advisory Board. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting from Nebraska.
