Eyes On The World Lecture Series Explores Culture and Business
Chandra Schwab, lecturer in international business at Nebraska College of Business, speaks to international students this fall.
Eyes On The World, a new lecture series at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln College of Business, dives into the intersection of business and culture in different regions of the world. The series offers students, faculty and staff the opportunity to learn about global economies and business issues. Faculty and staff members and guest speakers will share their expertise of a geographical region, including culture, state socialism, market-based economies and business challenges and opportunities in developing nations.

“Our goal with the series is to continue to spur and sustain the interest of our students in global issues. This inaugural free seminar series will expose attendees to the history, geographical features, national and business culture and key institutions in these regions in an exciting and fun way,” said Dr. Kalu Osiri, director of the international business program and associate professor of practice in management at Nebraska Business.

Schwab is the first speaker in the Eyes On The World lecture series with expertise in culture and business in East and South Asia.
