3rd Annual Mentorship Roundtables Event Coming October 25 to UNL

The Center For Entrepreneurship will be hosting its 3rd Annual Mentorship Roundtables event on October 25. The event will take place at 6:00 pm in the Champions Club (located adjacent to Memorial Stadium).

Mentorship Roundtables is designed to connect college students and recent alumni with entrepreneurs and business professionals in the local  community. Last year, 210 students with over 20 different majors attended this event. Today’s students need real world experiences and professional contacts to set themselves apart.

The venue will be set up with forty roundtables, each seating six people; one business professional will be seated at each table.  Students will have an opportunity prior to the event to look over the biographies of the business professionals via the Nebraska Center for Entrepreneurship website.  During four 20-minute timed rounds, students will interact with and learn about chosen mentors as well as their company.  Students who are interested in a possible mentor/mentee relationship will be able to leave a copy of their résumé.

The variety of mentors and mentor expertise at Mentorship Roundtables make this event relevant to all majors and grades. This event is fun and will hopefully leave attendees with some insight into the business world that most will be entering after graduating!
