Event Description

Join us for the "OUCH!" Workshop on Tuesday, March 9, 12-1 p.m. This hybrid workshop will have 10 seats available in the Inclusive Excellence Gathering Space (HLH 102) as well as a Zoom option for those more comfortable attending remotely. Zoom information will be included in the registration confirmation email.

The objectives of the "OUCH!" program are to help participants

  • Focus on understanding the impact of stereotypes and biased statements
  • Identify the most common reasons individuals remain silent in situations of bias and stereotypes
  • Provide participants the tools for speaking up against stereotypes without blame or guilt
