Welcome to the UNL College of Business! Join us for the College of Business New Faculty Orientation Events Thursday, August 20-Friday, August 21. Meeting details, including Zoom information, will be sent as the event approaches.
The series begins Thursday, August 20, 5 p.m. with virtual introductions and discussion with fellow new faculty members, associate deans and department chairs. Following the discussions, dinner will be delivered to your home. While we can’t dine together in-person, please share with your family that we are very excited to have you all joining our Nebraska Business community.
The college’s New Faculty Orientation continues Friday morning, August 21, 9 a.m. Following a brief welcome, you will hear from associate deans regarding College of Business unit and team highlights of their respective areas of expertise. You will also receive information about faculty research support, promotion and tenure, faculty governance, and annual review processes. The session concludes with an opportunity to hear from a panel of 2019 new faculty as they share insights and tips learned during their first year.
