Two most common shortfalls of entrepreneurship are lack of a strong foundation before the launch and paralysis on the entrepreneurs' part in what steps to take and in what order. In the 3-Day Business Startup, participants will be introduced to vital skills and exercises important for the early stages of a business creation. Each session consists of a training module, mentorship, and blocks of time for participants to implement what they learn such as conducting market research, talking to customers, creating a prototype, and pitching to real business stakeholders. At the end of the three sessions, participants will have a strong foundation and framework for a business which they can further work on to launch.
The event is free for participants, and open to all backgrounds (there is no prerequisite knowledge necessary for this program), but a serious idea and interest in launching a business is recommended. Meals are provided.
Fridays in November: 8, 15 and 22 | 9 a.m.-3 p.m. | HLH 111
