The Ameritas Emerging Leaders Academy is designed to develop leadership skills for advanced undergraduate students. Participants begin the academy with an understanding of their CliftonStrengths® and how to best use them for personal growth and effective leadership. Subsequent sessions include change management, effective communication and innovation. As a part of the innovation training, the cohort will spend the last two months of the academy working on prototype solutions for the challenges affecting the insurance industry. (Project coaching will be available.) Final prototypes will be presented to Ameritas senior leadership during graduation. Sessions will be held one Friday a month from September 2024-May 2025.
