On Thursday, November 8 at 12 p.m. in HLH 202, Nebraska Family Business presents Rising a Thriving Next Generation: Gratitude, Goals and Grit featuring Dave Specht. Lunch provided, RSVP required.

About the speaker:

An internationally recognized expert in family business management, Dave Specht will discuss grit and the family business in this lunch and learn hosted by the Nebraska Center for Entrepreneurship. Specht serves as national development manager for family dynamics at Wells Fargo PrivateBank. He is also the founder of Advising Generations LLC, a strategy consulting firm for family-owned businesses. His work has been featured in The New York Times, Successful Farming magazine, Drovers Cattle Network and Family Business magazine. Author of “The Family Business Whisperer” and “The Farm Whisperer,” he previously served as the coordinator of family business programs at Nebraska and as a former business consultant with the largest independent broker dealer in the country. Specht has gained international attention for his creation of the GenerationalBusiness360© process and a new mobile app called Inspired Questions-For Farmers. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Brigham Young University-Idaho and a master’s degree in tax and financial planning from San Diego State University.
