New Website Unveiled for CBA Building Project

The new $84 million dollar building project for the College of Business Administration now has a companion website for supporters of the college to follow along. The webpage can be accessed from our “Building Project” link contained in our monthly Inside CBA newsletter. It will include video updates, progress reports and spotlight the tremendous advantages the building will give everyone who comes to our building.

CBA is increasing enrollment numbers each fall and this year will be no different. To accommodate the rising numbers this 240,000-square-foot building will provide modern classroom design, meeting space and better access for everyone at its new location in the heart of campus at 14th and Vine streets.

“The concept of the building was to design a structure that has a CBA campus feel to it,” said Donde Plowman, James Jr. and Susan Stuart Endowed Dean of the College of Business Administration. “It will include space for interactive learning and collaboration right inside the classroom.”

The building project was approved by UNL regents in September of 2012 and the architects spent 2013 consulting with CBA constituents to tailor the design to the specific needs of the college.

Supporters can view the new website and see the most recent artist’s renderings, Dean Plowman’s video introduction to the building and an opportunity to donate to the building fund.
