MBA@Nebraska Named Best Value Program in U.S. by Financial Times
The MBA@Nebraska program ranked No. 1 in value for the money in the latest Financial Times online MBA ranking, placing No. 14 overall. The ranking is the program’s third top 20 placement for 2021.

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln Master of Business Administration program – known as the MBA@Nebraska – ranked No. 1 in the U.S. for the value for the money category in the latest Financial Times online MBA rankings for 2021. Placing No. 14 overall globally, the MBA@Nebraska placed No. 7 in the nation.

Alumni surveyed for the ranking reported a 28% increase in salary after earning the degree. With tuition and fees totaling less than $32,000, Nebraska also ranked sixth globally for its value.

“We take pride in providing an online MBA degree that is both highly ranked and highly affordable. Our competitive price point makes our program widely accessible, which is critical to our university's mission,” said Dr. Geoff Friesen, executive director of Business Graduate Programs. “Our recent MBA@Nebraska graduates received an outstanding return on their investment.”

The Financial Times brings the MBA@Nebraska program its third top 20 achievement for the year. In January, the program was ranked No. 17 by U.S. News & World Report and in December, No. 13 by The Princeton Review.

“Offered fully online, our MBA@Nebraska program is designed to be both flexible and affordable for busy professionals who want to advance their careers. Being so highly and consistently ranked among other respected institutions around the world speaks to its quality,” said Dr. Kathy Farrell, James Jr. and Susan Stuart Endowed Dean of the College of Business.

Financial Times also recognized the MBA@Nebraska program for its career services, placing it as No. 4 in the world. With resources like one-on-one career coaching, online resumé reviews and connections to a large alumni network, the program helps prepare MBA students for continued success.

“We are thrilled to again be recognized as a global leader in career services,” said Dr. Rachel Larson, assistant dean of academic and career development. “The Business Career Center team is constantly enhancing our programs and services to support online MBA students in their career and professional development. It is an honor for our students and alumni to see our individualized career coaching and innovative career programming as one of the best in the world.”
