CARMA, the Consortium for the Advancement of Research Methods and Analysis, in partnership with the University of South Australia hosts the CARMA Conference Australia this November in Adelaide, Australia. The event consists of two days of pre-conference CARMA Short Courses, followed by two days of conference proceedings. The conference includes workshops, keynote addresses, master classes, research feedback sessions, an editors panel, ask the experts and global methods initiatives. The pre-conference CARMA Short Courses run November 14-15. The conference begins November 15 at the conclusion of the Short Courses, and ends November 17.
 
Short courses offered include “Text Analysis” with Dr. Anne Smith from the University of Tennessee, “Advanced Multilevel Analysis” featuring Dr. Bob Vandenberg from the University of Georgia and “Introduction to Correlation and Regression” with CARMA Director Dr. Larry Williams from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
 
Conference workshops include “Advanced Structural Equation Modeling” with Dr. Gordon Cheung from the University of Auckland, “Grounded Theory” with Dr. Tine Koehler from the University of Melbourne, “Case Studies” with Dr. Catherine Welch from the University of Sydney, and “Multilevel Modeling” with Dr. Mark Griffin from the University of Western Australia. CARMA selected Dr. Jose Cortina from George Mason University, Dr. Neal Schmidt from Michigan State University and Williams, to deliver the keynote addresses.
