CBA Women in Business Breakfast October 15

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Business Administration will host the 2013 Women in Business Breakfast on Tuesday, Oct. 15 from 7:30-9:00 a.m. The breakfast will be held at the Champions Club, 707 Stadium Drive, and will feature a panel of dynamic women’s business leaders discussing Lean In and the impact of gender-role traditionalism on today’s workplace.

“Sheryl Sandberg’s book Lean In challenges women to change the conversation from what we can’t do to what we can do,” said Dr. Donde Plowman, James Jr. and Susan Stuart Endowed Dean of the College of Business Administration. “This breakfast is an important way to start the dialogue in Lincoln. I look forward to an energizing exchange about women and leadership in the workplace.”

  • Lisa Smith, investment consultant at Smith Hayes Financial Services
  • Katie Zulkoski, associate with Mueller Robak, LLC

The breakfast is free and open to the public. Please register for the breakfast by Thursday, Oct. 10, at: cba.unl.edu/womensbreakfast.
