Aditya Gupta began pursuing his Ph.D. in Marketing in the Fall of 2014 from the College of Business Administration at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Delhi University in India and a Master’s degree in Marketing from S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research, also in India.

His research interests lie in the domain of consumer behavior and include experiential and hedonic consumption, gifting, market trends, and macromarketing. He has presented his research at conferences including the Winter AMA Conference, the Association for Consumer Research Conference, and the Annual Macromarketing Conference. His paper on business groups in emerging markets was a finalist for the ‘Best Paper by a Doctoral Student’ award at the 40th Annual Macromarketing Conference and he was also a recipient of the Othmer Fellowship awarded by the Office of Graduate Studies at UNL, 2014 - 2017.
