  • Public policy related to consumer payments
Doctoral candidate Arvind Agrawal completed his MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, India in 1981. He completed his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Rajasthan, India in 1979. He then pursued a corporate career for over 27 years starting in the marketing discipline and growing to senior management positions first in India and then in Singapore with IT, Direct Marketing, and Financial Services firms. In addition Arvind taught at an MBA program at FLAME University, Pune, India for four years before joining the PhD program at UNL in Fall 2013.

His research interests include consumer payment behavior, sales, and public policy and has taught International Marketing and Marketing Metrics. Arvind received the 2014-2015 Award of Excellence in Teaching by a Graduate Student from the Department of Marketing at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Arvind has published a book titled “How India Found its Feet: The story of Indian Business Leadership and value creation – 1991-2010.” The book captures the business framework, organizational challenges, and the quick thinking innovations to develop business models captured through the experiences of an industry leader across 14 industries that saw their companies go through tremendous growth and expansion within a short period from 1991-2010.
