UNL Online MBA Program Ranked Second in U.S. News and World Report

The online MBA program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Business Administration ranked second in the Big Ten in the 2013 U.S. News and World Report. Released January 15, the report ranked the UNL MBA program as a Best Online Graduate Business Program. Overall, UNL was 17th out of 148 programs.

All 148 programs offering a master's in business/MBA program through Internet-based distance education courses were surveyed in summer 2012. The results were based on a weighted average of indicators including GMAT scores, GPA, graduation rates and student engagement.

CBA’s traditional MBA curriculum is available on-campus and online. The online delivery allows the working professional the opportunity to participate in an internationally recognized program from anywhere in the world. Dr. Donde Ashmos Plowman, James, Jr. and Susan Stuart Endowed Dean of the College of Business Administration, said, “We are pleased with this recognition and believe it is another indicator of the outstanding quality of our business programs here at UNL.”

The College of Business Administration at the University of Nebraska­-Lincoln serves nearly 3,500 students with nine undergraduate majors, six master’s programs with eight specializations and three joint programs, and is the only Ph.D. granting business college in Nebraska. Established in 1913, the college was a founding member of and accredited by the AACSB.
