Pi Sigma Epsilon Fraternity Coming to UNL

Pi Sigma Epsilon (PSE) is coming to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln!

PSE is the only national co-ed fraternity for college students interested in furthering their sales, marketing and management skills. Students interested in gaining business experience through marketing group projects and community service projects are encouraged to join.

Matt Benson, President of the PSE UNL Chapter, is excited about the new opportunity for CBA students.

“The cool thing about joining the fraternity now is the chance to be a founding member and help set up an organization with a legacy that the future generations of UNL will get to experience," Benson said. "We really can shape this into whatever we want, which is basically just an organization where students can learn skills outside the classroom that will be valuable to future employers and allow us to network with them.”

Pi Sigma Epsilon is a great opportunity for networking with employers and fellow students with similar professional interests. Students who join and take an active role in PSE will be building their resumes as leaders by showing that they were involved in establishing a national organization on the UNL campus. Plans for upcoming activities include new member projects, campus and community service projects, chapter social events, and eventually the UNL Chapter of PSE aims to compete in the PSE Regional and National Conventions.

Pi Sigma Epsilon is currently looking for members with the desire to actively develop their professional knowledge and networks. The first general first information session will take place in CBA at the beginning of the Spring 2012 semester.

Dr. Scott Friend will serve as faculty adviser to Pi Sigma Epsilon.
