Thousands of articles and books purport to share the secret of the one best way to manage people in organizations. These confusing array of opinions and suggestions are often contradictory or based on insufficient evidence, and do little to help managers or business owners lead their organizations and people to success. Dr. Nikos Dimotakis, assistant professor of management, will discuss principles and processes of talent acquisition, motivation, and retention for which there is strong evidence of effectiveness, with an emphasis on applicable solutions.
