Event Description
The 2023 New Venture Competition, hosted by the Nebraska Center for Entrepreneurship, is a celebration of entrepreneurial learning and competition. Student teams from across campus present their business plans and compete for a grand prize of $15,000 and potential additional investment of $25,000 from Husker Venture Fund.
First round judges evaluate four presentations and choose one team or business plan to advance to the second round. Judges in the second round evaluate three presentations and choose one team or business plan to advance to the final round of competition on Thursday, April 6. Each presentation lasts no longer than 15 minutes and is followed by 10 minutes of Q&A with the judges.
